- Be a Smart Kiter not a Suicide kiter: Get Educated by taking lessons!
- Bring the basic protective gear while on your lessons such as: lycra Shirt and long sleeve in the summer, lycra shorts to wear under your board shorts, hat, sun glasses with strap, water shoes and lots of sun block lotion also a shorty wetsuit is recomended if you get cold easy.
- A basic first aid kit its recomended while on a vacation.
- Avoid Kiteboarding alone at any beach in Cozumel.
- Watch out for currents and wave conditions while Kiteboarding on the east side of the island.
- Make sure of setting up your gear correctly and wear a leash while you Kiteboard in Cozumel.
- Always understand and make sure your drop zone is clear of people and obstacles that can cause harm to you and to others.
- Don’t leave your gear/bags in an open car where you can not see them.
- Make sure you have an all terrain vehicle if going out of paved roads.
- If venturing in secluded beaches make sure you have water and food for your breaks from session to session.
- Bring a repair kit before planning your vacation to Cozumel.
- Make sure to reserve your lodging ahead of time.
